OUR PACK
​Who We Are
Pack 1218 is part of the Valencia District in Orange County, CA which cities of Brea, Buena Park (North), Fullerton, La Habra, Placentia, and Yorba Linda. Our charter organization is Morningside Presbyterian Church. The parents of this Pack who choose to be leaders and Committee Members are committed to providing a quality year-round program of Cub Scouting activities in a safe and trustworthy environment for girls and boys in kindergarten through 5th grade.
LEADING YOUTH TO LIFELONG VALUES
The grade-level “Dens” get together several times a month to learn, play, create, share, try new things and practice the values of Scouting. Our entire Pack gets together monthly at a Pack meeting. We currently have members from Raymond, Commonwealth, Acacia and Rolling Hills public elementary schools as well as private schools in the Fullerton and Anaheim areas.
​What We Offer
Pack 1218 enjoys a friendly community of boys, girls, and their families participating in such events as family campouts, nature hikes, bowling, science days, etc. We are also involved in yearly Scout events such as Summer Day Camp, Trails End Popcorn sales, Scout-o-Rama, Webelos Camporee, Pinewood Derby, and Raingutter Regattas. Our families and friends get together to celebrate Scouting and to recognize the achievements of the boys and their leaders at our annual Blue and Gold Banquet in February. We also participate in service projects such as local trail cleanups, placing crosses for Memorial Day, Scouting for Food and presenting at local flag ceremonies.
